Alex's New...Boots? Hmmm...

Well she wouldn't have to be an official part of the Legion and Alex is only canon to the show, and the Adventures of Supergirl comic book and book series based on it.

Had thought about the League connection, too, Marysocontrary. Wasn't sure, though, if the show runners would be willing to touch the League with Alex--a non-league cannon. However, perhaps, as you mentioned, they simply hook her up with new tech.

Sully, I would think that is the most plausible theory out there and not noticing the boot until the digitally enhanced zoom.

I don't see Alex as being a World Killer. Maybe the Legion gives her something that allows her to help out Kara in the fight against them though. Not the kryptonite suit that Non and Indigo put on her to go after Kara, but something else instead. Maybe she'll even get to use a Legion ring and fly.

I really hope that Alex is not the third or fourth World Killer and I'm not sure that I would buy a story of Jeremiah and Eliza finding Alex and that she is actually from Krypton - even though it might be cool to have the sisters actually be biological sisters.

It really would be cool to have them be biological sisters. And I can see a worldkiller version of Alex trying to prey on her fears that Red K! Kara pointed out in 'falling' where Alex was insecure bc she didnt have powers, etc. But...

I think the bond between the sisters is strong enough at this point to be equal too/greater then the Sam/Ruby bond. And so if Ruby is enough to wake up Sam, then Alex would no doubt be able to defeat a Evil!Alex worldkiller temptation to hurt Kara.

Absolutely agree, SuperMatt. I actually would like to see the story take place. I could definitely foresee some great acting between the two of them, beyond the quick fight we saw when Alex was under the control of Myriad. That was such a relatively short scene/fight, that I wouldn't mind seeing Alex be a major plot twist here. I'm still leaning more towards Sully's idea that Winn may have simply modified her Kryptonite suit, or something along those lines.

Yeah, that's the most probable, I would think.

At first I thought that maybe this was from earlier in the season, when Alex broke her leg and that maybe they're hiding that but, you said it was from International Women's Day so, I take it that it was a recent photo? If so, then yeah, that's a bit strange.

The boots are definitely different and the drawn cape seems a bit suspicious. I don't think that it would be J'onn playing Alex because why would that make a difference in Alex's boots? When he played Kara, he had the same outfit on that Kara would have worn.

Hmmmm indeed. I'll play along. How about Alex as the 3rd or maybe a surprise 4th Worldkiller.

HA! Had the same thought, Kiwi. But, then...as I was falling asleep actually...I couldn't get around the whole, "But, then that means Eliza and Jeremiah have been keeping a big ole secret--they FOUND Alex." But, I think it would make for an amazing plot twist.

But, yeah. There's definitely somethin to those boots. Check out the heel. It's the same re-enforced type backing the costume department gives all the women's superhero/villain boots.

The thing Im thinking about is that this would create such a heartbreaking plot twist if they continued the worldkiller plot. They are only able to 'cure' one and even with Sam being one of her friends, I think Kara would choose always to cure her sister. (Well, -if- they go this route.)
